Summary:
The Product Owner works closely with cross-functional teams to support the development and delivery of digital products. This position involves gathering requirements, organizing product backlogs, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Product Owner works across a broad set of business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and managing priorities.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in defining and managing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document product requirements
- Communicate updates and feedback to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product features before release
- Monitor the development process and provide feedback on progress
- Track product performance and generate reports for management
- Support the Product Operations team in troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues
- Perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of SecurityMetrics
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of product development and agile methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in product management or IT related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
- 4 years of experience in a relevant IT or product-related role
- A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present in the office. Occasional remote work can be accommodated by the employee's direct supervisor.
