Overview:
Procyon Technostructure LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our team in Novato, California. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive product vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including business teams, development teams, and clients, to ensure clear communication and alignment of goals.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on the most valuable features and improvements.
• Agile Methodology: Lead the Agile development process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring that the team is productive and focused on delivering high-quality products.
• User Stories & Requirements: Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria based on customer needs and business goals. Ensure that the development team understands the requirements and delivers features that meet expectations.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement.
• Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product enhancements and future development.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and usage metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product delivery and success.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
• Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Novato, California.
• Contract Type: W2 contract position; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
