Product Owner The Role The Product Owner will be responsible for articulating and translating the overall business vision into strategy and tactics for CRM and marketing automation features. He/ She will direct the scrum master and cross-functional team during the design, development, testing of the user stories and implementation of the features. He/ She is accountable to ensure the delivery of the work from the scrum team is aligned to the business and user needs, as well as, the overall CRM strategy.
Essential Job Functions: - Using Agile Scrum methodology, create feature roadmap to build, refine and maintain the Salesforce CRM product backlog. Work with other Product Owners to ensure coherence in developing product backlog and integration of features between product teams.
- Accountable for being the voice of the customer and the business. Owns the backlog of work to be completed. Incorporates stakeholder input into the product roadmap while effectively negotiating tradeoffs of conflicting priorities based on value to the business and the customer. Works with stakeholders and business analysts to oversee the writing of detailed user stories and help elicit, analyze and document clear, concise conditions of acceptance.
- Communicate with leadership and business on the progress of the work that is related to the product, roadmap, and any risks/issues. Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization and beyond to communicate messages to different people about the product and/or project at any given time based on impact to the stakeholder.
- Act as primary interface with Scrum teams. Primary decision maker on features and key requirements to be developed.
Experience And Education: - 4-5 years of experience required
- 4 year degree required
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in financial services
- Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Marketo platforms, or other equivalent technology
- Experience working with sales and marketing
