The goal of QUOODA is to make managing property risk and compliance quicker and easier, providing key information at your fingertips in real-time, covering Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental Impact, Asset Management, Work Permits, and more.

The Team

Our team is dedicated to delivering an industry-leading platform and equipping our users with features to simplify their tasks. We operate as a fully cross-functional team following agile best practices in a highly collaborative environment, taking ownership of the platform architecture, infrastructure, and application lifecycle under the 'Build It, Ship It, Own It' philosophy.

We currently have several teams comprising engineers, testers, and product owners, and are expanding these teams as we approach our scalability and growth targets. This is an exciting time to join us, offering opportunities to make a significant impact and influence our development approach.

Role Overview

We seek a Product Owner to join our dynamic and experienced business. You will work across our three teams (Platform, Portals, and Features), which include engineers, testers, and product specialists, expanding as we grow. This role is pivotal in bridging business and technical domains, requiring skills in requirements gathering, solution design, technical support, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the product manager to translate strategy into actionable tasks for cross-functional agile teams.
  • Convert high-level product visions into detailed requirements.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including non-customer teams like Customer Success, Support, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Perform analysis to ensure requirements are ready for development.
  • Translate high-level visions into actionable backlog items and ensure visibility and clarity.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate functionality development.
  • Prioritize and order the backlog to maximize value and meet goals.
  • Participate in team coordination meetings and ongoing testing processes.
  • Prepare documentation and update notes regularly.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Excellent communicator who can align technical and non-technical teams
  • Focus on user outcomes, not just deliverables
  • Proven experience with Scrum/Kanban, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
  • Data-driven decision-making and comfort with ambiguity
Required Experience
  • At least 3 years in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Agile Product Management
  • Experience translating strategy into actionable tasks for engineering teams
  • Familiarity with compliance software or B2B SaaS (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
