Position

STRAT7 Researchbods is looking for a Product Owner - SaaS to be working on our ex-plor platform, a very successful platform where our clients get closer to their customers, discover their needs and predict the future.

The role

The focus of the role is to lead the development and enhancement of our ex-plor platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-centric products and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our SaaS offering.

This will be a high profile role across the practice where you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including the business team, development, design, marketing and sales, to ensure that ex-plor meets the needs of our users and aligns with our strategic vision.This is why this role is requiring strong interpersonal skills, great communicator showcasing the ability to work across all levels of the business.

Your focus and responsibilities

Assist in the definition and communication of the product vision for ex-plor, aligning with the broader company objectives. Creating a product roadmap that can be shared internally and with customers to reflect the product vision and strategy. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the platform.

Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering high-impact features and enhancements. Write clear and concise user stories that capture the needs of our customers.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders, including the senior leadership team, community management (CM), client services (CS), sales team and the development team as well as the consulting community (insight) and sales.Gather and analyse feedback to inform product decisions.

  • User Experience Focus

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, accessible and engaging user experiences. Advocate for user-centric design principles throughout the development process.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making

Utilize analytics and user feedback to assess product performance and make informed decisions on future developments.

  • Agile Methodology:

Working closely with the agile team, participate in the product development process using agile methodologies, supporting agile in the required ceremonies such as show and tell, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Developing and maintaining work artifacts that support the development team's efforts, including refinement and retrospectives.

  • Market Research

Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure ex-plor remains a leader in the market research space.

Requirements

Desired skills and knowledge

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a SaaS environment, preferably in market research or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices.
  • Experience with Jira and the other Atlassian tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with user experience design and a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and metrics to evaluate product performance.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to translate user needs into actionable product features.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) is preferred but not essential.
