Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maximizing business value by prioritizing and coordinating the efforts of product scrum teams, including maintaining a product roadmap and product backlog.
  • Coordinates scrum team efforts to ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to ensure the product roadmap is clearly understood and aligns with corporate objectives.
  • Understands and connects market conditions, overall corporate objectives, and development timelines to create and maintain a product roadmap that lays out a 6 quarter high level vision of the product's major features and changes planned.
  • Adopts and supports accountabilities from the scrum guide.
  • Manages changes and risks that accompany product updates and developments.
  • Collaborates across the IT department and with stakeholders across the organization to ensure product development meets business needs and objectives.
  • Manages the product backlog by maintaining a list of all development items, including support tickets, prioritized based on business value and corporate objectives.
  • Works across all products to align roadmaps and dependencies.
  • Communicates with the agile team to make sure the overall roadmap, release, and sprint goals are all understood.
  • Manages 3rd party relationships as needed for product support.
  • Manages relationship between business users and the scrum team to ensure the product development aligns with the user's needs.
  • Manages and coordinates release schedules for the product.
  • Monitors and reports on ROI achieved by product enhancements to stakeholders and executives.
  • Creates and completes annual professional development plan (PDP), reporting updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise for supported products including learning, understanding, documenting, and improving the functionalities and processes contained within solutions.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years working in a current Product Owner role in an Agile environment.
  • 2+ years of working knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Fabric Cloud Data Warehousing.
  • 2+ years of working knowledge of analytics and business intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience in asserting ideas and persuading others to gain support across an organization or to adopt new behaviors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient presentation skills.
  • Experience with prioritizing with multiple product teams and business stakeholders to align data and analytics delivery components.
