Job Title: Product Owner - DOT Products (IFTA, ELD, DVIR, DOT Audits)
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Salary: $80,000 - $115,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of our DOT products, including IFTA, ELD, DVIR, and DOT Audits. This is a key role where you'll drive internal efforts to ensure our offerings are industry-leading within the trucking sector. The Product Owner will also be responsible for competitor research, gap analysis, and creating reports to improve and elevate our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Lead the design and development of DOT products, ensuring they meet market demands and customer needs while maintaining a competitive edge.
- Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly products.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct detailed competitor research and create gap analysis reports to identify areas for product improvement and differentiation.
- Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to ensure the product roadmap aligns with market needs and customer demands.
- Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to keep products compliant and competitive.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones, deliverables, and timelines for product releases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product progress, challenges, and opportunities with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the trucking or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance requirements (IFTA, ELD, DVIR, and DOT Audits).
- Experience working with IFTA, ELD, DVIR, and DOT auditing solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
