Product Owner
  • Creates, owns and manages product features as they relate to product roadmaps, strategy and company objectives.
  • Creates business process flow diagrams to assist in the creation of user stories and design architecture.
  • Generates well-formed and refined user stories that describe and detail out requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Manages the product backlog to ensure the team always has a prioritized backlog and sufficient stories when priorities shift.
  • Represents their domains, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
  • Partners with other product owners on cross-team dependencies.
  • Represents the team in front of stakeholders or users.
  • Remains flexible to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Ability to self-organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Partners with QA team members to ensure the appropriate functionalities are tested to subsequently validate the conditions of acceptance.
  • Participates in scrum ceremonies and leads refinement meetings.
  • Partners with QA team leadership on acceptance testing.
  • Ensures reported issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Escalates outstanding decisions pertaining to scope impediments.
  • Partners with UI/UX to ensure the user experience matches the business needs.
  • Contributes to the maturity, performance, and growth of the Agile team.
  • Ability to satisfy the business needs in a simple way leveraging existing solutions whenever possible.
  • Generates release note content pertinent to the feature functionality being added.
  • Facilitates effective meetings with agendas/minutes
SALARY RANGE $98,517 - $145,951 Grade 112

Requirements
  • 1-5 years' experience as a product owner, business systems analyst or 3-5 years of escrow and/or real estate tax experience as a senior manager or above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and SQL
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and managing work in an application lifecycle manager
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies
  • A track record of following through on commitments
  • Experience and track record of delivering success as a team member in a fast-paced, delivery focused environment
