Perform the Product Operations function of Payments Platform to enhance Shopifys payment capabilities to meet needs of enterprise merchants. Suggest improvements for Shopifys monetization position/margins by shipping key growth levers in key markets, with a focus on retails move to Payments App, and increasing checkout payments flexibility and wallets. Monitor annual and quarterly planning for resources allocation and roadmap prioritization. Deliver monthly and weekly team updates, highlighting team priorities, risks, and needs to Payments and Merchant Services Leadership. Drive alignment across disciplines and external stakeholders using program/project performance reports and resource allocation reports for the team and Merchant Services. Build collaboration with different disciplines to maintain a healthy cross-discipline team, such as Product, Data, UX, Engineering, and Operations. Facilitate the use of Shopify tooling and incident management best practices across payments. Co-create AI resources to improve Shopify system and subtract insights from merchant anonymized data. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S. up to 100%. SALARY: $189,800 $225,100 base salary per year. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, and 5 years of post-bachelors, progressive related work experience; OR a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Must have 3 years of experience with the following: Planning and implementing operations improvements using Fintech; Partnering with external partners/vendors, executive leadership, and cross functional teams to help drive strategic initiatives forward; Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel and working with data and sharing insights to help stakeholders make data driven decisions; Designing minimum viable process, think in systems, utilizing customer insights, strategy research and adobe analytics to build digital products and improve systems; Performing KPI optimization by assessing back office processes; Training and supporting team members in new workstreams and processes; and Developing digital risk management process, tools, process assurance, and reporting. Travel to various locations throughout the U.S./ international required up to 5%. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S. up to 100%.
