Position Opengear is looking for a strategic and collaborative Product Marketing Manager to drive the go-to-market success of our leading-edge connectivity and infrastructure solutions. This role will support the planning, messaging, and enablement efforts that align product capabilities with customer needs-ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact across all marketing and sales channels. We're looking for a candidate who can develop compelling product positioning and collaborate across teams-but who thrives in a hands-on role without the overhead of senior leadership scope.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with Product Management to deeply understand product roadmap, value propositions, and differentiators.
- Develop product messaging and positioning that resonates with key personas in IT, network engineering, and operations roles.
- Create and maintain sales enablement materials (battlecards, pitch decks, competitive comparisons, FAQs, one-pagers).
- Drive product launch marketing plans, from internal readiness through customer-facing comms.
- Support campaigns and content with product narratives, key messaging points, and technical insights.
- Coordinate with Channel Marketing to ensure product content is adapted for distributor/partner needs.
- Collaborate with demand gen and content teams to align on persona pain points and campaign themes.
- Gather customer feedback and sales insights to continuously improve GTM strategy.
Who You Are and What You Bring- 5-8 years of experience in B2B product marketing, preferably in tech, networking, or infrastructure industries.
- Experience building positioning and messaging frameworks.
- Skilled at turning technical product features into customer value statements.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams-product, sales, demand gen, and content.
- Comfortable with marketing and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with attention to performance metrics, win/loss data, and market trends.
Desired But Not Required- Exposure to or knowledge of out-of-band management, networking, or IT infrastructure solutions.
- Experience supporting channel partners or distributor-focused go-to-market programs.
- Familiarity with creating product demo scripts, webinars, and training materials.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,500 - $146,500. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate's relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
