About the Role As the
Technical Product Marketing Manager, you'll play a foundational role in shaping how this groundbreaking platform is positioned, adopted, and evangelized. This role sits at the intersection of developer advocacy, go-to-market strategy, and technical storytelling. You'll lead efforts to translate cutting-edge product capabilities into engaging narratives that resonate with both open-source developers and enterprise AI teams. This is a rare opportunity to define the marketing engine of a company making the leap from open-source project to commercial product.
Responsibilities - Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the company's flagship data engine, driving adoption across AI/ML engineers, researchers, and enterprise teams
- Monitor trends in machine learning, data infrastructure, and developer tooling to inform positioning and messaging
- Create and distribute compelling technical content such as blog posts, case studies, user guides, and product documentation
- Engage and grow the developer and contributor community through events, forums, and strategic outreach
- Collaborate with engineers to convert technical innovations into accessible, user-facing materials
- Define and track key performance metrics around adoption, engagement, and community growth
- Represent the company at industry conferences, developer meetups, and technical panels
- Partner with enterprise customers to document success stories, use cases, and testimonials
Requirements - 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in developer tools, data platforms, or open-source ecosystems
- Solid technical acumen in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or AI/ML workflows
- Demonstrated success in growing technical product adoption and developer communities, ideally at early- to mid-stage startups
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technologies in a clear, compelling way
- Experience creating content that ranges from technical blog posts to strategic thought leadership
- Data-driven approach to optimizing marketing efforts
- Familiarity with open-source community dynamics and contributor engagement
- A collaborative and autonomous work style; comfortable in fast-paced environments with small, focused teams
