Product Category Manager, Tile and Stone Installation Systems

As Product Category Manager, Tile and Stone Installation Systems, you will lead the performance and strategic direction of this core product category, including product innovation, commercialization, marketing and promotion, sales strategy, and brand positioning.
This full-time role reports to the Senior Manager of Product Development and Marketing and is based at our scenic campus (complete with walking trails and free parking.), located just 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh International Airport.
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined product segment across all channels to drive sales, market share, and profitability.
- Support the launch and commercialization of new products:
- Research market trends and customer needs
- Analyze competitors and identify product gaps
- Partner with R&D on product development and testing
- Leverage global product portfolio for cross-selling opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams through the NPI process
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to implement product strategies aligned with company goals.
- Shape product marketing plans, including branding, positioning, and promotional strategies, in partnership with corporate marketing.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of ARDEX products and systems to support sales messaging and training.
- Drive national and regional promotions, communications, and value-based selling initiatives.
- Oversee packaging, labeling, and development of marketing materials (e.g., brochures, technical data sheets, digital assets).
- Manage program budgets in line with strategic objectives.
Skills / experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or product/category management
- Strong financial acumen, including product costing, pricing, budgeting, and profitability impact
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Customer-focused with a solid understanding of value propositions and market needs
- Confident presenting to customers and supporting sales efforts
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and highly organized
- Dependable team player with strong accountability and responsiveness
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Willing and able to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays
- Valid driver's license with a clean record

Education
- Minimum four (4) year bachelor's degree in a related field
