Location: Hybrid in San Francisco (Onsite Wednesdays)
Duration: 6 months (potential to extend or convert), 40 hrs/week
Pay: $110-$126/hour (DOE)
Client: Electronic Manufacturing Company via The Planet Group
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution across home entertainment device categories - GTM strategy is set-they need a hands-on executor to bring it to market (via PR, events, messaging, etc.)
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, PR, Design, Brand, Content, and Regional Marketing teams
- Influence product development via market assessments and competitive analysis
- Create product positioning, value propositions, naming, and messaging
- Drive global product adoption and sales enablement
- Input on integrated campaigns (email, social, digital, PR, events)
- Track and optimize ROI and marketing effectiveness
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in both B2B and B2C (excluding SaaS B2B)
- Strong background in consumer electronics (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Google, LG)
- Product marketing/management experience with insight into CE brand strategies
- Proven ability to sell ideas internally, collaborate with sales, and craft consumer-facing messaging, especially for video
- Skilled at operational GTM execution-not just strategy
