The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the product development, sourcing, and production functions for assigned categories. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for product development and a deep understanding of the apparel industry.


Key Responsibilities:


You should have an incredible eye. What do we mean? We mean that you should be able to look at a design or finished product, know exactly how to make it, where to make it, where to get the fabric from, and how to get it done at the best cost.

Be an internal SME for categories such as Knits and Wovens (Fabrics, Garments, Sourcing, and Product Knowledge).

Familiar with both private label and licensed brands.

Strong contact list of factories and service providers.

Collaborate cross functionally with merchandising, planning, design, and technical design to achieve best product results from all angles of the business.

Recommend new ideas and methods for construction and execution.

Anticipate and proactively tackle potential raw material, margin, sourcing, and execution issues.

Supervise negotiations, product development, adoption, sourcing, vendor allocation, and production processes across multiple market and product development vendors.

Manage team of up to 3-4 professionals.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.

Experience managing and developing a team of 3-4 people.

8+ years of experience in product development and management in the apparel industry.

Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes, textile sourcing, and product development.

Familiarity with product development software such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems.
