Position Summary: NSI Industries is seeking an experienced
Product Manager to drive the strategic development and execution of one or more product categories. This role will have full P&L ownership and be responsible for market segmentation, roadmap planning, and new product development. The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to lead category performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver market-relevant solutions.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills: - Lead product planning and marketing using roadmaps and competitive analysis.
- Identify market segments for revenue opportunities.
- Gather customer insights for products.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market acceptance.
- Review inventory and forecast sales.
- Analyze competitors to identify trends and gaps.
- Drive new product development including marketing, costing, pricing, distribution, and go-to-market strategies.
- Assist with packaging and documentation.
- Achieve business results and improve performance standards.
- Conduct technical training and create product content.
- Participate in industry events.
Required and Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or General Business
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive product management, sales, or engineering experience from a consumer and electrician led electronic goods manufacturing organization
- Proficient in operating Windows, CRM and BI programs as well as associated Microsoft Office applications, including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of basic financial statements and P&L ownership
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and BI software tools
- Product and application knowledge in Wire Connectors preferred
- Field sales experience with electrical distribution, contractors and specifying engineers preferred
- Competitor, product, and application knowledge of compression, terminal, and grounding connectors preferred
