Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company providing technology solutions to self-storage operators. They are seeking a Contract Product Manager - Payments to temporarily support their payments division during a critical leadership gap. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-growth, high-profitability company handling billions in payment volume across complex B2B platforms.

This role is ideal for a high-performing product professional with some experience in payment processing, Embedded finance, or B2B SaaS, and is looking to audition for a long-term leadership opportunity. You'll work cross-functionally across engineering, design, marketing, client success, and leadership to ensure seamless product execution and measurable outcomes.

This is a contract to hire role, with an opportunity to convert to full time in 8-12 weeks

What YOU get to DO at this innovative company:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across support, implementation, sales, product, and engineering to manage rollout of payments products across multiple platforms.
  • Analyze user behavior and customer data to validate and inform product direction.
  • Support execution of in-flight product workstreams, filling a temporary product leadership gap.
  • Contribute to payment product strategy through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Communicate initiatives clearly across departments, driving alignment and transparency.
  • Manage third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure delivery of payment product objectives.
  • Represent the product function in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates on product milestones, risks, and progress.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this opportunity:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to payment processing technologies (eg, Stripe, Adyen, Global Payments).
  • Experience with embedded finance, payment flows, or merchant acquiring
  • Strong cross-functional and organizational skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize under ambiguity, and deliver results quickly.
  • High emotional intelligence and professional maturity to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to write clear, actionable user stories.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure impact and outcomes.
  • Comfort balancing strategic thinking and hands-on delivery within a lean team.
