Position Overview

The Product Line Representative (PLR)- Engines reports to and supports the primary Product Line Manager/ Director, with primary accountability for managing components from aircraft dismantles and consignment inventories as well as purchasing high demand components. The PLR-E is responsible for sales campaigns of the product line to global airlines and reciprocal opportunities with airlines for their surplus. The Product Line Representative assists with IPC research to explore additional revenue opportunities as well as supporting the demand management team with building an internal database and coordinating with the Regional One global sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory & Demand Management:
    • Oversee inventory from aircraft dismantles and consignment partners.
    • Verify and process daily receiving reports, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely updates.
    • Maintain optimal min/max quantities of stock and coordinate component dispatch for repair.
    • Evaluate high-demand components for constant replenishment opportunities.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct IPC research to identify revenue-driving component interchangeability.
    • Track market trends, collect vendor quotes, and provide insights into global sales strategy.
    • Generate data-driven sales campaigns targeting global airlines' surplus inventory needs.
  • Sales Support & Collaboration:
    • Partner with the global sales team to address market inquiries, competitive pricing, and demand forecasts.
    • Build and maintain the product line's internal database, enhancing cross-departmental efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Complete special projects, such as quarterly reviews and scorecard assessments.
    • Collaborate with teardown facilities to streamline the collection and sale of dismantled parts.
    • Assist with programs and provide backup support for the sales and demand management teams as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Aviation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Exceptionally detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable; capable of working independently and in a group
  • Strong written and communication skills, ability to present complex ideas clearly
  • General financial competency
  • Minimum 1 year aviation engine experience (Dealbreaker)
