Job Details:

4th Thursday to Sunday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am

Starting pay $18.30/hr

SUMMARY

Inspects raw materials and products such as bones, feathers, meat, SPN for conformance to specifications by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Other duties may be assigned.

Examines material or product for trash and other undesirable materials prior to being used.

Looks at product and asses its usability.

Verifies and records specifics of product or material.

Rejects defective materials and takes samples of SPN.

Insures proper transfer of raw materials from the holding areas, to the raw press.

Ensure conveyors are, conveying raw materials in to the proper areas within the plant.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

A Minimum of 6 months of experience in industrial/ manufacturing/ construction/ landscaping environment.

One year of continuous employment with the most recent employer.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Maintain an updated forklift drivers license (renewable every two years).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SHIFT SCHEDULE:

4th Thursday to Sunday 8:00 pm to 8:00 am

Shifts are subject to periodic rotation every 8 weeks.

Sunday is a scheduled plant shut down primarily for housekeeping, maintenance, training, and/or work assigned by management.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
