Product Engineers

Duties: Provide technical support to the product owners including research, execution of complex data queries and operations activities. Analyze and diagnose issues raised by the product owners utilizing knowledge of how the wcPrism systems operate and your technical expertise. Determine appropriate steps to resolve data and application issues in the quickest and most efficient manner. Identify application defects and propose appropriate system changes needed to address those defects. Serve as the conduit between product owners and the software development team through which the specifications flow. Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational specifications with technical solutions for implementation. Define and document processes and procedures to maintain the product artifacts which capture customer and state requirements and business essential information. Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures and test plans to ensure expected and accurate results. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; plus 3 years of related experience. Requires 3 years of experience in the following: 1) Workers Compensation electronic data reporting products; 2) mapping disparate policy, claims and financial data source feeds to a variety of standard intake formats including Proof of Coverage; 3) Software analysis, design and development; 4) .Net Framework, ASP.NET Core, .NET Standard, ASP.NET WebForms and MVC with languages using C /VB.NET in building web application, web services, windows services, REST APIs; 5) Building responsive and interactive web applications using Angular for frontend development; 6) SQL programming skills with MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL; 7) Building ETL programs and scripts to transform and load a plethora of disparate data types using SSIS and Pentaho. 8) Developing and implementing AWS cloud solutions, encompassing a wide range of services such as elastic compute, serverless architecture using lambda functions, cloudfront and RDS databases; 9) CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, and Octopus for streamlined software delivery and deployment; 10) Version control with SVN, Git, and Bitbucket for effective code collaboration and management.
