Job Title: Product Engineering Specialist
Location: Mossville, IL

Pay Rate: $32.00 - 36.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
The main function of a Product Engineering Specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, act as a business analyst for non-IT projects, and support organizational roles above an administrative level but below management. Responsibilities include maintaining project management processes such as goals, deadlines, and metrics.
This position is non-IT, it is an engineering role and we are seeking candidates with engineering backgrounds. IT professionals will not be considered for this role
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
- Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
- Set up project and work breakdown structures.
- Establish and document business processes.
- Work with the APLM group and engineering design processes.
- Focus on software enhancements (not an IT development role).
- Act as a product owner for a single program channel, working with the user base in their area.
- Document user stories in Agile format.
- Collaborate with development teams for coding, testing, and deployment of enhancements.
- Serve as a customer-facing group for product groups.
- Communicate effectively with people they have never met.
Education & Experience Required
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required
- Master's degree holders with 3-5 years of experience will also be considered
- Teamcenter and Creo experience is necessary
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Enterprise Application experience is a plus
- Ability to organize and structure project execution activities strategically and tactically
- Familiarity with accounting, mathematical principles, and business forecasting
- Experience with Teamcenter and Creo
