Description

  • Develop and implement efficient estimation processes for product engineering
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costings
  • Support New Product Development initiatives, working to develop sustainable manufacturing processes for new production lines.
  • Serve as technical point of contact for customers - determine feasibility of manufacturing, and providing project updates
  • Conduct market research to maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Support the development of junior staff through knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to team meetings and strategy development sessions
  • Handle other duties as assigned by management

Profile

  • 3+ years experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering role
  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Prior experience conducting quoting/estimating activities for manufacturing
  • Experience working with external vendors/subcontractors to assess costs of materials
  • Strong ability to read & interpret blueprints & manufacturing drawings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Job Offer

  • Base salary $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience
