- Manage 3D routing and package CAD layout activity
- Utilize best design for manufacturing, assembly, and failure mode avoidance practices
- Create and maintain program specific foundation documents
- Develop and/or direct manufacturing print development and release
- Create and maintain harness family complexity
- Create and maintain installation illustrations
- Maintain design version control
- Manage component and harness part delivery
- Master harness assessment and sign-off
- Support vehicle assembly plant builds on-site
- Address vehicle assembly issues, make necessary design changes
- Review pre-production vehicles for potential campaignable warranty impact
- Raise and resolve
AIMS Skills Required: Functional knowledge of vehicle electrical system or functional knowledge of vehicle wiring system.
Experience Required: Working knowledge of vehicle development process (GPDS), change control process (WERS), and launch experience.
Education Required: BSEE or BSME or 10 or more years of EDS design working experience.
