Performs difficult application assignments, including assisting higher level analysts in performing development, maintenance, and support of existing application development software and web sites. Participates in fact-finding and analysis to resolve problems related to user procedures, training, and software malfunctions and assists with researching, evaluating, and testing software applications to support recommendations and gain knowledge. Performs and assists in the configuration, testing, installation, documentation, and developing run procedure requirements for application programs. Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology (IT) field by continuing education through attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two (2) years of college with course work in computer science, Application Services, or directly related fields. Requires one (1) year of professional experience in Application Services or related Information Technology field. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of professional application experience with programming capabilities and database applications development. One (1) year of professional application development experience performing testing and debugging of modified programs, ensuring all logic paths are tested and pre-determined results are verified. One (1) year of professional application software experience with Microsoft Dynamics M365 and Microsoft Power Platform. One (1) year of professional application software development experience utilizing software tools such as Microsoft .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, CSS, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO). One (1) year of professional application services experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and MS Visio. Working knowledge of data processing concepts, database design, relational databases, and data normalizing. Ability to analyze and diagnose system issues and coordinate efforts to resolve.
