The Product Development Engineer will be a key player in new developments of components and parts essential in the aerospace industry.

Description

The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Identify and implement optimal production methods for new product launches.
  • Manage design projects through key phases, including Input, Output, Verification, and Validation.
  • Review and approve design modifications, specifications, and drawing releases.
  • Assess, test, and integrate alternative products to meet specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and resolve product issues, providing technical guidance across departments.
  • Champion Lean principles, actively driving and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

The successful Product Development Engineer will have what follows:

  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D engineering software.
  • Familiarity with automotive, aerospace, or industrial quality standards.
  • Experience with Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or other problem-solving methodologies for effective solution implementation.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is highly beneficial.
