Product Development Coordinator:
The Product Development Coordinator manages the design, development, and marketing of each product. Working with the designers, technical designers, overseas team as well as planning teams to ensure products meet brand goals and market demands. Comfortable with calendars and dates; excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities :
- Design: Collaborate with designers to understand technical specifications and prototypes
- Production: Manage the production timeline and coordinate with overseas teams to ensure successful pass offs to production teams.
- Communication: Work with designers, tech designers and all cross functional teams with clear goals and objectives. Alert teams to possible delays not meeting milestones.
- Costing: Send all technical packets and design/trim/component overviews to overseas team. Collect all costs- timely and communicate to planning team. Track and follow all fabric costs and libraries. Compare historical like styles on the Line Plan.
- Sourcing: Track all fabric and trim sourcing ensuring the calendar is respected. Alert the team when new development materials arrive, including but not limited to lab dips, strike off, and prototypes. Follow up with the team for timely comments.
- Testing: Track fabric/product/Trim testing results.
- Documentation: Maintain information documents, development trackers, and product masters

Education:
- A degree or diploma in fashion design or a related field is required.
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD / Tech Pack knowledge a plus
