Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Product Designer to join our well established client.

Job Duties:

• Work within the development lifecycle, covering design, development and testing ensuring the successful manufacture of functional products.
• Actively contributing to the Sales Team providing support and expertise.
• Apply technical knowledge to help resolve technical & basic product design conundrums.
• Plan and prioritise personal design activities.
• Assist in the costing and time elements of production including design time and BOM creation.
• Record, analyse, report, and administer per systems and requirements.
• Provide innovation and a desire to expand and develop products according to the market.
• Assist in the delivery of training to new designers.
• Perform against several measures of performance (KPI s) and report weekly to the team and senior management on these.
• Attend meetings with clients and sales representatives.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years design experience.
• Qualification or equivalent experience in a CAD / Design field.
• Ability to use industry-standard 2D / 3D CAD software.
• Proficient in SolidWorks/Rhino.
• Strong creative and design skills.
• Proven ability to innovate and problem solve in a design environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritise accordingly.

Salary: £28,891 Per Annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm.

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
