A key Optimus client is looking for a Product Control & Trading Support Analyst to join its high-performing Houston-based team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role that blends middle office, trade control, and product control, all while sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with traders optimizing one of the largest upcoming LNG supply portfolios in the U.S.
- Delivering daily P&L, risk, and curve reports for physical and financial books
- Supporting trade operations, including confirmations, exchange reconciliation, and margin processes
- Collaborating with trading and treasury to ensure accurate, Real Time trade data and funding needs
- Partnering with analytics to automate reporting and build dashboards (Power BI is standard)
- Supporting CFTC/ICE/FERC regulatory reporting
- 2-5 years of experience in commodity middle office, trade support, or product control
- Strong understanding of the physical trade lifecycle (storage, transport, settlements)
- Exposure to major ETRM systems (Endur preferred)
- Bonus: Experience with Power BI or Tableau (or willingness to learn fast.)
- A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a desire to grow into a commercial-facing role
