About Us: Located in the beautiful town of Cardiff-By-The-Sea, Seaside Market has been serving the community since 1985. We're seeking a Produce Clerk to contribute to our delightful produce team. Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their buying experience
- Stocks produce department, includes presentation of product, facing, filling and organization of all product items as set by the produce department schematic.
- Maintain a clean workspace, shelves, bins and tables
- Assist in inventory process; Ensure proper signage
- Receives, inspects and logs products for accuracy of shipment, temperature and quality
- Rotates produce and ensures freshness.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers
- Follow all safety and health guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Age 18 or older to handle alcoholic beverage transactions (California state law).
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Language and Math Ability : Read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
- Food Handler Certification required. (Available upon hire.)

- Frequently walk, talk, or hear, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally crouch or kneel.

- Have specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus for verifying invoices and other written documents.
- Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, lifting and carrying trash containers for outside disposal.
- Demonstrate sufficient physical mobility to respond quickly to emergencies and cleanup requests.
- Tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical fumes during routine housekeeping duties.
