Our client, a leading innovator in education, is seeking a Procurement Technology and Operations Manager to oversee the full technology ecosystem supporting procurement activities. This role will be responsible for the optimization, management, and strategic oversight of procurement systems, including Merle, Zycus, and Ariba, while leading a dedicated operations team through a pivotal growth phase.
Projects You'll Work On:
- Oversee and optimize procurement platforms (Merle, Zycus, Ariba) to enhance automation, data integrity, and user experience.
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the procure-to-pay (P2P) process.
- Manage key technology vendor relationships, ensuring performance, contract compliance, and roadmap alignment.
- Prepare the organization for a transition to a hybrid work model, setting up best-in-class remote and on-site procurement operations.
- Drive process improvements, integrations, and reporting innovations that create value for the broader procurement organization.
What Experience You Should Bring:
- 5+ years of experience within procurement operations or procurement technology, with a strong understanding of the P2P lifecycle.
- Hands-on expertise with procurement systems, particularly Merle, Zycus, and Ariba.
- At least 3 years of proven leadership experience managing teams, including coaching, developing, and performance managing direct reports.
- Strong vendor management skills and experience collaborating across technical, operational, and executive teams.
- Exceptional project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and optimization.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote-first environment with a long-term view toward hybrid collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree required.
