Job Title: Procurement Manager

Compensation: $128,000 - $138,000 annual salary The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role: The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively support functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers. Lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing for all categories with an emphasis on produce and proteins. This position executes strategic partnerships with raw material sources and manufacturers to foster long-term relationships to support a dramatically growing business.

A successful Procurement Manager will demonstrate attention to detail, a dynamic personality, a sense of urgency, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, critical thinking, and strong negotiating skills to drive long-term value proposition. This person will report to the Sr. Manager, Procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage purchasing program for all categories including food, paper/disposables, chemicals, beverages, smallwares, and equipment

Negotiate, benchmark, and conduct RFPs to secure competitive pricing

Discover and on-board profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

Partner closely with internal manufacturing facilities to identify synergies and sourcing efficiencies

Oversee the details for product, supplier, and menu changes

Establish buying and inventory management processes with Suppliers and Distributors.

Communicate, track, and summarize product recalls/withdrawals

Liaison between operations and Suppliers around quality and service issues

Maintain proactive cross-functional communication to support operations teams.

Manage price changes and conduct price verification with external partners

Identify trends and forecasts to support volume swings due to new items or seasonality

Create quality controls to ensure manufacturers adhere to the company's product specifications

Create contingency plans to avoid supply interruption across the system

Remain updated with industry trends, commodity changes, and sourcing best practices

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Minimum 5-7 years of Food Service experience in Purchasing, Distribution or Supply Chain Management within the food service, restaurant or hospitality industry

Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office)

2-4 years' experience with distributors in food & beverage industry

Talent in negotiations and networking

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication

Ability to prioritize and plan effectively

Alert to needs of the organization, team members, and guests

Must be able to work independently and/or part of a team

High energy with a positive, servant leadership attitude

Unwavering commitment to our Mission and Values

Project management experience, preferred
