Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create, deliver and monitor KPI's relating to cost, OTD, quality, service and continuity of supply.
- Prepare RFQs, manage tender processes, and ensure robust evaluation criteria are in place to select optimal suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers.
- Expedite purchased parts as and when required to support production requirements.
- Negotiate the most competitive prices from suppliers at the best possible terms and negotiate the most competitive Shipping Terms and Rates continually.
- Work with logistics operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are cleared through customs, items are dispatched in a timely manner, assist with packing and shipping.
- Provide direct support to Supply Chain Manager to design and implement new processes.
- Develop our continuous improvement culture within our Supply Chain.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Supervisory experience is desirable for this role.
- Experience of working in a procurement role.
