Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst - Contracts and Risk Management (Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) focal to join the Contracts & Risk Management team within the BDS Supply Chain Organization in El Segundo, CA. The selected candidate will be a key member of the Contracts and Risk Management team identifying and developing U.S. Government and commercial customer contract flowdown requirements. The selected candidate will work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain supplier requirements and internal supply chain compliance guidance in support of BDS, BGS-G, and ET&T higher-tier contracts. Successful candidates will have the ability to balance The Boeing Company's priorities while also maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Position Responsibilities: Reviews U.S. Government prime and direct commercial sale customer contracts to identify supplier flow-down requirements
Creates prime contract supplier flow-down documents
Coordinates with internal stakeholders, including the business unit, program, contracts, legal, and other functions to ensure flow-downs accurately reflect customer requirements
Develops prime contract internal guidance for Supply Chain Procurement Agents
Interprets FAR/DFARs and other agency or commercial customer requirements for compliance obligations and supplier flow-down requirements
Supports government and internal audits, process reviews, and procedural updates to ensure compliance with customer requirements and processes
Coordinates with Supply Chain Procurement Agents, management, and Contracts and Risk Management focals to resolve supplier exceptions to customer flowdowns
Creates value by supporting the business unit, program and/or functions contracting and risk management efforts
Supports interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for supply chain contracts and risk management activities that enable the company to create, protect and recover value
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partner.
Collects, organizes, synthesizes, and analyzes data; summarizes findings; develops conclusions and recommendations. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at El Segundo, CA. This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Knowledge of Government contracts and flow-down
3+ years of experience working with acquisition policies, e.g., USG FAR/DFARS regulations
3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing highly complex contracts and subcontracts Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
Experience in leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
Bachelor's degree or higher
