This is a unique opportunity with an Energy Transition company seeking an experienced Process Safety Management (PSM) Manager or Process Safety Engineer.
We are seeking someone with a background in refining/manufacturing as this person will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of their manufacturing and refining operations. Your expertise in process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance will be vital in identifying potential hazards, implementing safety measures, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
Overview:
- In this role, we are looking for someone who can "own" the process safety excellence, including developing corporate Standards and Policies and site-level Procedures to comply with regulations and best practices.
- This person will also develop and facilitate auditing of the sites against these Standards, Policies, Procedures, and regulations and then support the company and sites in closing gaps.
- They will lead development and implementation of MOC process and PHA's.
- Ideal candidates will be familiar with OSHA's Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA's Risk Management Program (RMP) requirements as well as industry best practices around PSM & RMP, including Process Hazard Analysis methodologies, LOPA, SIL and siting studies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Safety, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in process safety management, preferably in manufacturing, refining, or chemical industries.
- More experienced candidates may be suitable for a different position within the company and should apply
- In-depth knowledge of process safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, NFPA, API, etc.).
- Experience conducting process hazard analyses (PHA) and risk assessments, using techniques such as HAZOP, LOPA, and QRA.
- Familiarity with process safety-related software tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, equipment, and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess process safety risks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
