Job Description
As the Process Safety Engineer, you will be tasked with the following:
- Evaluate, design, and implement safety processes in our industrial manufacturing environment.
- Conduct COMAH reporting, complete LOPA assessments, and operate in accordance to DSEAR regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and process safety management audits.
- Develop and present safety training programmes for employees.
- Work closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to develop safety standards and protocols.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in working order and meets industry regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Document and maintain records of safety procedures and incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial safety technology and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Process Safety Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of process safety management systems.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
- Strong skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work well with teams across different departments.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting safety training programmes.
