To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring a Quality Engineer for the new manufacturing projects. This role will be located in Marshall, Michigan. We are looking for a talented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team in Marshall, Michigan. The Quality Engineer is responsible for the quality control of a repackaging process including repackaging quality, data management, problem solving and tracking and incoming material quality management of the production base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in quality management and quality tools and principles.


Essential Functions:

Responsible for control and quality management of production line processes.

Monitor and manage SPC (Statistical Process Control), FAI (First Article Inspection), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) inspection, FIFO (First In, First Out), error proofing, rework, and equipment qualification.

Ensure all quality-related activities are performed effectively and in compliance with company standards and requirements.

Perform quality risk identification and initiate quality improvements.

Manage changes in the production process and ensure implementation of process response plans.

Provide training and support to enhance the PQE technicians' overall competency.

Support process audits such as LPA (Layered Process Audit).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance, particularly in the vehicle manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of the basic principles of battery operations.

Familiar with the basic characteristics of communication faults and mechanical structure failure.

Proficient in product failure analysis methods.

Proficient in quality analysis and improvement tools such as: 8D (8 Disciplines Problem Solving), Six Sigma, SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).

Proficient in using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Strong data analysis and processing abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.
