Process Improvement Engineer

DUTIES: Responsible for building and implementing IT services. Maintain reliability of systems in production, fixing issues, responding to incidents. Responsible for conducting post-incident reviews, documenting findings and actions. Focus on gathering SLIs, SLOs and measure effectiveness of metrics using monitoring tools AppDynamics, Splunk and Prometheus. Work on CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins and maintain logging and metric systems to bring automation in place. Responsible for maintaining production, overall availability of pipelines and fixing bugs, identify performance issues across systems. Create alerts, complex queries, reports. and dashboards in Splunk. Responsible for production deployments, troubleshooting the production issues if release has any issues. May require to travel/telecommute. REQUIREMENTS: Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering(any), or a related technical field plus 6 months experience in job offered, Software Developer, Systems Developer, or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) CICD pipelines, 2) Jenkins, 3) Kubernetes and Docker, 4) AWS, 5) Splunk, 6) GIT and Gitlab, 7) ITSI, 8) Java and Apache webservices, 9) Bitbucket and SVN, and 10) Linux, Windows OS.
