Join our dynamic team as a Process Engineering Manager at our leading printed circuit board facility in Minnetonka, MN. We are seeking a skilled professional who is eager to advance their career in a role that requires hands-on problem-solving and the implementation of sustainable process solutions for high-demand applications.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 employees within the process engineering and chemical laboratory departments.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.

  • Create and maintain process control plans and standard operating procedures.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure consistent quality and address real-time production issues.

  • Utilize statistical tools for process control and continuous improvement identification.

  • Provide training to manufacturing staff on procedures and best practices.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on project progress, plans, and yield to management.

  • Assist in equipment and materials specification and acquisition.

  • Offer Design for Manufacturability (DFM) support for new projects.


Required Skills and Abilities:



  • Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on process improvement and team collaboration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to resolving issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams.

  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and statistical process control.

  • Capability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate priorities.

  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred; other backgrounds considered based on experience.

  • Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or related industries such as solar, semiconductor, or plating operations is Required

  • Demonstrated experience in leading high-performance teams.


Compensation and Benefits:


Full-time position with a salary range of $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, life, and vision insurance, and paid time off.


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
