Join our dynamic team as a Process Engineering Manager at our leading printed circuit board facility in Minnetonka, MN. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 employees within the process engineering and chemical laboratory departments.
- Develop, implement, and oversee manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
- Create and maintain process control plans and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure consistent quality and address real-time production issues.
- Utilize statistical tools for process control and continuous improvement identification.
- Provide training to manufacturing staff on procedures and best practices.
- Prepare and deliver reports on project progress, plans, and yield to management.
- Assist in equipment and materials specification and acquisition.
- Offer Design for Manufacturability (DFM) support for new projects.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on process improvement and team collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to resolving issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performance teams.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and statistical process control.
- Capability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate priorities.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred; other backgrounds considered based on experience.
- Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or related industries such as solar, semiconductor, or plating operations is Required
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performance teams.
Compensation and Benefits:
Full-time position with a salary range of $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including 401(k) with matching, dental, health, life, and vision insurance, and paid time off.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday.
