Position Mission: The successful candidate will provide support for process improvement projects including, but not limited to, support for trials and investigations of new technologies. Drive best practices in safe operations and ensure the safety of all operations, maintenance and staff personnel. Must take initiative to move forward with ideas, be committed and able to work with and influence others. Must learn quickly and analyze the data. Review daily production and quality data, analyzes production and operation issues.

- Review daily production and quality data, analyzes production and operation issues.
- Responsibilities include implementing manufacturing processes, troubleshooting process, equipment issues, data collection and analysis.
- Manage trials, identify process improvements.
- Assist key personnel in outage planning and operational scheduling.
- Analyze weekly and monthly process trends.
- Monitors departmental cost, develop capital project scope and budget.
- Training of hourly and salary personnel, reviews work and vacation schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of yearly cost and production budgets.
- Asitrade Training - Ensure all operators/single facers/ down stackers are all trained properly and maintain a matrix. Ensure we are trained 2-3 deep on all positions all shifts.
- Asitrade Maintenance - Review and update, ensure all PMs (operator & maintenance) are set up properly and are well documented. Review this and ensure we are using the SAP system to track all PMs correctly to identify all the 03A work orders to improve PMs on a regular basis.
- Asitrade Downtime - Track downtime for maintenance and operations and develop action plans so that these downtime issues are resolved through PMs making run time is as high as possible. This will be done with RCFE, TOPX, and other problem-solving tools utilizing the ASI team for these solutions.
- Asitrade Support - Be available within reason to help with major downtime issues 24/7. Major issues being defined as anything over 2 hours where the crew/maintenance/supervision should be calling for help if they are not sure of the permanent fix to their issue. This support should reduce the escalated BOBST calls by 25-50%.
- Maintenance Training - Share knowledge with department and maintenance lead in Asitrade area.
- Develop Procedures/Processes in the gluing area of the facility to maintain items 1-5 above for this area. Areas of focus should be individual Banders, Handle Machine, Case Packers, E-80 Robots, E-80 wrapper, label machines.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- The incumbent must provide strong leadership and teamwork to ensure safe and efficient operations
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 2-5 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications - SAP Business Software Knowledge preferred
- Working knowledge of IT Technical Support to include software and hardware issues, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- Proficient computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Software, Excel, Word and Outlook
Pay Range: $90,825.00 -
