Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Process Engineer (R3-R4) to support the implementation and continuous improvement of automated technologies and processes for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated manufacturing systems and processes. Analyze safety, quality, material flow, logistics, and equipment limitations to optimize operations. Utilize computer-aided tools to optimize layout sand designs for production processes. Leverage simulation technologies to analyze and refine product flows and critical steps in the production path. Develop standardized procedures, maintenance strategies, and process benchmarks to ensure consistent quality and performance. Define and execute corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA) strategies to manage and prevent process deviations.
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field, and 3 years of experience with supporting manufacturing, logistics and quality engineering operations. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with supporting continuous improvements and operational excellence; 3 years of experience with investigating root causes and corrective actions implementations; 3 years of experience in utilizing computer aided tools for design; 3 years of experience in process design, and lean six sigma; 3 years of experience in working with warehouse management systems (WMS); 2 years of experience in collecting and analyzing data for engineering processes; 2 years of experience with applying statistical methods for problem solving; and 2 years of experience with facility or area startups as an engineer leading activities including equipment commissioning, and ensuring operational and systems readiness. Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
