Our client, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor with a strong background in dairy, soft drinks or other liquid food processing, to support projects focused on process optimisation and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver process improvement and optimisation projects across manufacturing operations
Troubleshoot process issues and implement robust technical solutions
Support CAPEX project delivery, including specification and commissioning of new equipment
Work closely with cross-functional teams in production, quality and maintenance
Apply lean principles and root cause analysis to drive efficiency gains
Ensure all process changes comply with hygiene, health and safety, and food safety standards
Key Requirements:
Proven track record as a senior process engineer within the food and beverage sector
Specific experience in dairy, soft drinks or similar liquid food manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process optimisation
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, project-based role
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Available to start on short notice
IR35 Status: Outside
Pay Rate: 40- 50 per hour based on experience.
