A client of Insight Global that is leader in the activated carbon industry located in Moon Township, PA is expanding their team and looking to hire on 3 Process Engineers with an industrial background. The Process Engineer provides technical support in process engineering to Operations, Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, and various corporate departments. This role requires managing multiple assignments while collaborating closely with staff, production teams, and maintenance personnel. The position may serve as a transition from an individual contributor to a managerial level, potentially involving people management responsibilities. A strong understanding of engineering principles, theories, and concepts is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Initiate and manage plant improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Provide technical support and training to production teams.
- Develop and innovate new products, processes, and techniques.
- Assess feasibility and conduct economic analyses of engineering tests and projects.
- Coordinate and implement engineering projects within specified timelines.
- Collaborate across departments and with external contractors to ensure technical accuracy.
- Create and verify process flow diagrams, material balances, and P&IDs.
- Support Facilities Engineering in project development and execution.
- Communicate manufacturing improvement opportunities with senior management and implement valuable projects.

- Hours of work: Full-Time position with hours Monday- Friday 9:00-5:00 PM
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university
- In-depth experience within industrial manufacturing environments and industry
- 1-7 years of manufacturing development/optimization experience
- Experienced working in a plant environment

Salary
$89,000 - $105,000 dependent on years of experience + performance bonuses and incentive
