Process Engineer - Roll Mill Operations


Location: McBee, South Carolina Schedule: Full-time, On-site

What You'll Do


As a key contributor to the roll mill operations, you'll:

  • Develop and refine processing methods and controls to meet rigorous product quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement process improvements to drive yield, throughput, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, quality, and operations teams to align manufacturing processes with production goals.
  • Spearhead initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental compliance across your area.
  • Play a vital role in capital improvement by evaluating and recommending equipment upgrades or new technology investments.
  • Translate engineering drawings and specs into actionable shop-floor improvements.
  • Lead data analysis efforts on process performance and drive corrective actions.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering-preferably in mechanical, manufacturing, materials science, or metallurgy.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or process support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering standards, continuous improvement methodologies, and production systems.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD software, as well as Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Familiarity with interpreting complex engineering drawings and transforming them into actionable processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to drive projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
