Job Description:
Seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in APQP, PPAP, cost management. The role focuses on ensuring part readiness, supplier quality, and cost-effective product development across the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Manage APQP, PPAP, and cost activities from concept to launch
- Collaborate with Engineering, Buyers, and SDEs using Teamcenter
- Escalate supplier quality issues and ensure containment
- Lead VAVE efforts via cost modeling and DFM
- Apply quality feedback and lessons learned across suppliers
- Review engineering drawings and support should cost analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain Engineering
- 2+ years in quality/manufacturing (pharma or regulated industries preferred)
- Proficient in Teamcenter, Creo/CAD, Excel, and Six Sigma tools
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
