Job Title: Probate Paralegal
Location: Seattle, WA (90 days on-site then hybrid 2 days WFH)
Experience Required: 4+ Years
Salary Range: $75,000 $105,000 (DOE)
LHH is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal with a minimum of 4 years of experience in probate and estate administration. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of probate procedures and Washington State laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft petitions, motions, and orders related to probate matters
- Prepare and file court documents in compliance with local rules and deadlines
- Maintain and organize probate case files (physical and electronic)
- Assist clients with form completion, provide case updates, and communicate with sensitivity
- Conduct legal research to support attorney strategies
- Liaise with court personnel, clients, and related professionals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of probate experience in Washington State
- Strong understanding of probate law and court procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Empathetic approach to client communication during sensitive situations
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
