We are looking for an Associate attorney, with at least 1 year of experience, in a small Estate Planning, Trust Litigation/Administration, and Probate law firm. We are looking for an individual to become part of our team who is self-motivated, organized and calm under pressure. The position requires an employee who has excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and who can bring both common sense and professionalism to their daily tasks. Finally, the candidate will be a good team player with the ability to follow directions and ask questions, but able to problem-solve individually. As to the particular position, we further note the successful candidate will:
Be licensed to practice law in the State of California and have no record of discipline by the State Bar.
Have a minimum of 1-3 years of practice of law; probate, trust, and/or estate planning experience is preferred, but not required. Mentorship and collaboration are an integral part of our office's culture, and we will be happy to train the right candidate.
Be willing and able to personally appear in courthouses in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties for appearances as needed.
ABOUT US: We are a small firm specializing in probate law. We protect and administer estates from beginning to end, including estate planning, trust and probate administration, and trust and estate litigation. We also focus on fighting financial elder abuse, including restraining orders where necessary.
Our office building offers free pristine gym, yoga and meditation rooms, spin studio, fitness classes, and showers, along with upscale outdoor lounge area with wi-fi and café, covered parking with EV charging stations, game room, and private indoor lounge and kitchen. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Salary is commensurate with experience. We do not offer remote work.
