PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position available at a new, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Seeking dedicated and compassionate COTA to provide rehabilitative services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting in treatment planning, documenting patient progress, ensuring safety, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Minimum requirements include one year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting, current state licensure as a COTA, and current BLS certification. Must demonstrate competency in care provision, critical thinking skills, and effective communication. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to bodily fluids.
