Join our compassionate care team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at our new state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital. We seek a dedicated COTA to provide rehabilitative services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, assisting in patient assessments, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in determining patient treatment goals.
- Document patient status and report observations.
- Provide culturally sensitive care.
- Maintain therapy program areas and adhere to safety standards.
- Work PRN as needed.
Requirements:
- One year of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Current state COTA licensure and BLS certification required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
