Private Duty Registered Nurse

Performs technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, providing comfort and support, transporting patients, positioning patients, identifying and caring for biological specimens, and preparing the Operating Room. Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care, scrubbing in specialty areas, maintaining sterile field, passing instruments, ensuring preference cards are up to date, working effectively in a team, maintaining a safe environment, adhering to Universal Barrier Precautions, and demonstrating clinical expertise. Job requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program, 2+ years of experience, BLS certification, and Surgical Technologist certification or LVN/LPN license. Full-time position with a varied work schedule.
