Our Company Adoration Home Health and Hospice Overview Full-Time In-Home Private Duty LPN - Night Shifts Location: Maryville, TN 37804 (Patient's Home) Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Job Description: Adoration Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time private duty night shift role in Maryville, TN. This position involves providing specialized care to a pediatric patient in their home environment. Make a Difference: Provide compassionate care and build meaningful relationships with your patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, personalized care to a 5-year-old patient. Implement seizure precautions and manage feeding needs. Administer medications as prescribed. Assist with patient transfers and provide necessary suctioning. Monitor oxygen levels and maintain oxygen precautions. Conduct skilled nursing assessments and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide constant supervision to ensure patient safety due to fall risk. Requirements: Current LPN license. Experience with pediatric care, g-tube management, and seizure precautions is preferred. Responsibilities Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred Active CPR certification Familiarity with electronic health records Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance About our Line of Business Adoration Home Health and Hospice provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families and caregivers in their time of need.
