Marcus Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel ownership and management company in Milwaukee, is seeking an Account Manager- Non-Profit Markets to drive business for three of the city's most iconic properties: the Hilton Milwaukee - A premier convention headquarters hotel; the Pfister Hotel - A recently renovated, historic luxury hotel; and Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel - A vibrant, creative hub for the arts and events. With a total of 1,255 guest rooms and over 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, this role offers the opportunity to secure high-value business, cultivate lasting client relationships, and contribute to the continued success of these landmark hotels.
What you will be doing: - Maximize food & beverage revenue by upselling group bookings from the Sales Manager.
- Craft customized menus and coordinate event details including linens, florals, and printed materials.
- Act as the liaison between clients and the restaurant team to ensure smooth event execution.
- Oversee event setup and introduce clients to the restaurant team upon arrival.
- Maintain consistent communication with all departments to ensure flawless service.
- Manage and detail all events for Miller Time Pub & Grill and SafeHouse Milwaukee.
- Participate in BEO and revenue meetings to stay aligned with business goals as well as assist with financial reporting.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through timely follow-ups and clear communication.
What we are looking for: - Previous hotel or restaurant experience required; food & beverage operations preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong multitasking and project management abilities
- Confident networker and polished communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Skilled in analyzing client needs and negotiating pricing
- Able to meet deadlines and work flexible, non-traditional hours
